Two projects of special interest include Open Building Automation System (Open BAS) and Collaboration with use of remotely controlled or automated devices (Collaborative UAV). Open BAS project has been implemented in cooperation with Syracuse Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems. The project is being continued. The goal of the project is to eventually release an open source building control and automation system in the industry so far dominated by proprietary software. See the following pages for a description of this effort. The Collaborative UAV project aims at integration of data sources from remotely controlled and/or automated datasources into collaboration process.
