Live Content Capture & Publishing
CollabWorx Platform (CWP) Live Content Capture (LCC) is a solution
for automated recording and publishing of presentations. Audio, video,
and arbitrary contents of web pages are recorded. The system records and
publishes classroom and on-line training sessions, lectures, and seminars
to the Internet. The process is completely automated, greatly reducing
human labor. Archived sessions can be played back over the Internet using
H.263 streaming video or over Intranets using high-quality MPEG1 standard.
Internet playback uses Java video player, thus eliminating download or
installation of playback software.
CWP Live Content Capture is an ideal solution for capturing corporate
knowledge. By archiving, at an extremely low cost, either formal or informal
presentations and accompanying visuals, as well as the interactions during
such meetings, the system allows the corporations to create a permanent,
searchable record of corporate expertise. Such an archive forms a cornerstone
of the corporate knowledge base.
CWP Live Content Capture is integrated with CWP Virtual Classroom,
so that interactive distance learning session can be recorded as easily
as the traditional classroom presentations. CWP LCC output can be stored
on the secure HTTP servers, offering instant access to the recorded material
to either company employees or to the public, or it can be loaded into
our Learning Management Solution, where it can be fully integrated into
a searchable, secure, high-performance knowledge retention and recovery
system.
We typically bundle LCC in one of two ways: either as a suite of software
tools only, or together with supporting hardware: camera, mixer, lighting,
video card, computer, and cases.
